A European-Inspired Engagement in McKinney, TX


When Kate reached out to me on Instagram about photographing her and Isaac’s wedding, I was instantly excited to meet them. After chatting about their big day, we planned their engagement session at one of my favorite North Texas locations — Adriatica Village in McKinney, Texas.


Adriatica’s European-inspired architecture, stone walkways, and waterfront views make it such a stunning and romantic spot for photos. Kate and Isaac wanted a setting that felt elegant and timeless, and this location couldn’t have been a better fit.

Golden Hour Romance


We met in the evening just before sunset, and the lighting was absolutely perfect. The soft glow reflecting off the water gave their photos that dreamy, light and airy feel that I love so much.


From the moment the session started, these two were so natural together — constantly laughing, smiling, and enjoying every moment. Kate’s bright, bubbly personality perfectly complements Isaac’s calm and kind presence. Watching them interact made it so clear how much they love and appreciate each other’s differences.

Elegant Style & Perfect Outfits


Their outfit choices were spot on! They started in a classic, dressy look — Isaac in a black suit and Kate in an elegant white dress — and then changed into their second look, with Isaac in a light gray suit and Kate in a romantic ruffled light blue dress. The colors paired beautifully with Adriatica’s stone textures and soft tones, creating a timeless, elevated look.

Capturing Genuine Joy


I always guide my couples with prompts that help them laugh, move, and focus on each other — and Kate and Isaac made that effortless. Every photo radiated their joy and connection, and by the end of the evening, we were all smiling ear to ear.


I’m already counting down the days until their June 2026 wedding at Chandelier Farms, a stunning Dallas wedding venue, and I feel so honored to be capturing such an important chapter in their love story. Engagement sessions like this one remind me just how meaningful this season is — a time to slow down, celebrate, and capture memories that will be treasured for years to come.
